Global energy markets are constantly adjusting to meet demand while regulatory and societal trends continually steer the industry toward cleaner production methods and product specifications. Rosnik can help clients achieve new heights in throughput and versatility while being vigilant stewards of resources and the environment.
Often, analysis is done “in part” and not “in whole”, resulting in less-than-optimum definition, unoptimized base line, and eventual capital cost escalation. Historically, linear programs (LP) are used for these evaluations and, by themselves, do not have the granularity to make the best technical and economic evaluation.
Rosnik brings an independent viewpoint to accelerate and enhance the detailed analysis from the start. Early identification and evaluation of strategic options/configuration in a robust environment provides confidence in stage gate approval for engineering funding, the asset achieving the desired operation, and avoidance of regret capital. Our work will aid in critical decision making related to crude selection, operating strategy, product blending, product slate, scheduling feasibility, inventory and logistics as well as supporting inputs.
Rosnik’s powerful Strategy Solution methodology and tools developed by our in-house experts coupled with expertise in project development can get our clients develop long term strategies to get ahead in long term completion.
Owner/operator experienced Rosnik employees can help clients to develop Gate 1 package for management review.
Our client in UK required evaluation of 3 organizations to Select a Potential Manufacturing Partner (PMP). Selected areas of evaluation were safety, technical, project delivery, raw material sourcing and economics (NPV).
A multi attribute analysis was performed to rank the potential partners. The weights for the parameters were pre aligned with the customer (1 – 10 scale). NPV was the parameter for economics comparison. Inputs about the organizational capabilities were obtained through a combination of presentations, site visits, interviews & public domains.
Preferred manufacturing partner study included an organization in Baton Rouge & the other 2 organizations were in India. Rosnik presented its report in January 2024, was accepted by the board
The study was completed in 3 months
